There are limited Raw Cashew Nut processing units which have automated plants and professional management to run business. Largely the cashew processing in India is done by unorganized sector. Such units lack robust system to manage and track large volume of Raw Cashew Nuts and Cashew Kernel, a set of skilled workforce to perform critical operations like grading and peeling, which define the quality of the kernels, a compliant plant, and systems to be qualified by large scale buyers like modern trade.
